We have found the Myall lakes to be one of our favourite spots when looking for a few days away relaxing on the boat. It is a 1.5 hour drive from home and the Myall lakes NRMA caravan park has a ramp, kiosk for a meal, and wharf for overnight and the park stores our car and trailer for just $10 per night.
Our first trip in feb 23 was when we explored most of the lake and its tributies in full except down to Tea Gardens. The river system can be explored all the way to Tea Gardens and Nelsons bay but this was seen another time.
We stopped at Long point bay for three nights,
Explored the Karuah and Buladelah rivers which of shoot from the Lakes, including visiting Nerong.
and Mungo Brush National Park
Our favourite spot is Narani at the top of the lakes where we spent our next two visits to the lakes, one in the end of 2023 and Feb 24.
