Northern Territory
We finally left Darwin on Oct 11. !!!
After a trip to Sydney to see Johns mum and grandkids. John was back in Darwin and I was in Brisbane with the grandkids when Johns mum died 97 a good innings!
So back to Sydney and the funeral for Johns mum ,I flew from Brisbane to Port , got the funeral clothes and car and drove via Kriztinas to Sydney where John after flying from Darwin to Sydney went to helped with the arrangements . After the funeral in Wyong. I drove the car back to Kriztinas and caught the train to Sydney, John getting on in Wyong, then after a long sit at the airport we both flew back to Darwin.
Now the trip begins again! Heading south through the NT , not many photos as going over ground we have seen before.
First stop Edith falls for a swim, the second entry closed for reno’s so we had to swim around the island to see waterfall.

Day2
A few swims at Bitter springs , we didnt go to Mataranka as we were warned they had a bat plague and the pool and walkway was smelly and bat poo everywhere. On to Daly waters for the night. A afternoon of playing pool 3/2 deb winning.
A heavy shower of rain keeping us inside.
Day 3
A long drive down the Stuart Hwy to Banka Banka. A afternoon in the air con. The scenery boring and relentless.
Day 4
Heading to the three ways highway a new route for us that takes us into SW Qld tomorrow.
Today its Barkly Homestead.
We spend the evening chatting to a lovely couple with three kids from Adelaide
