We drove to Hawes from the Lakes District with a drive through Kendal.
It was nice to see the Yorkshire dales scenery again as we are in the west dales, probably however less mountainous than the east side.
Hawes is a lovely little town with our pub accomodation in the middle of town.
We drove out to the Aysgarth falls and saw the upper and middle sections
Then after some cheese tastings at the Wensleydale Creamery, a cheese experience.
We had lunch in Hawes we went to the
Hardraw force a waterfall with 100 ft drop
Then to the Broad Inn for the night.
Next day
We visited the town waterfall and drove to
Ribblehead Viaduct
We wanted to go to this one as we had seen it on Great Railway Journeys on TV.
It is at the Blea moor common

Liverpool
Our first day after arriving in Liverpool, we did the Beetles story at Albert Dock a 10 min walk from our accommodation also at the quay
The tour was really informative and a lot of their history in early years.
The museum was in the Queen docks region.
Then we walked up to the Mersey ferry terminal from Gerry and the Pacemakers song crossing Ferries across the Mersey, a 1960s song
Saw the museums and three graces buildings.
John had his photo taken the the Beatles statues.
Then a horrible dinner at our hotel.
Second day in Liverpool
We took the on and off bus stopping at the Anglican Cathredral
and then getting off near queens square in brown st , looked at the statues and building and a few old pubs. The crown and The Vines for a pornstar martini !

Then next morning it was through the tunnel under the Mersey River and in to Wales.
