Nelligen

This was a social trip to chat up with friends Andrea and Dave.

we drove from Thornton to Sussex inlet to see friends we met on the road and it was great seeing Rob and Gayle for two nights.

Then onto Nelligen , the first and last nights in the caravan park and four nights on the river 300 m from shore and near the park .We explore upstream with Andy and Dave, spent a few days sitting by the river with their friends and family , took Tom their son for a waterski and had a day trip into Batemans Bay. We left not via the coast which we had done on the way down, but up over the mountain where the car struggled towing the heavy boat and then up the Hume highway to Thornton then home.
